The Mission of the Arizona State Parks Foundation (ASPF) is to stand as a partner to assist Arizona State Parks in fulfilling its mission through education, community participation and financial support. Goals include: Increase public awareness of the variety of recreational, natural and historic resources within Arizona State Parks, and the issues that impact them and actively encourage public participation and membership in state park Friends groups, emphasizing the accomplishments and support provided by these groups and the advantages and benefits of these organizations which support and coordinate local efforts to ensure the future of the Arizona State Park system. The Friends of Kartchner Caverns State Park (FKCSP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1999. The Mission is to ensure continued preservation of Kartchner Caverns through advocacy, education and public awareness in partnership with the community and Arizona State Parks. The Vision of FKCSP is to be the model to follow in the active support of cave research, preservation, appreciation, and education in the preservation of a living cave.
The Friends of Oracle State Park raises funds for the restoration, preservation and operation of the historic Kannally Ranch House and its grounds at Oracle State Park. It is this group's goal to help restore and maintain the Kannally Ranch House, its gardens and grounds, keeping it as near to original condition as possible.

The purpose of the Friends of Roper Lake State Park is to support the park in its time of need, and work towards a State Park which is open to the public at affordable prices, provides a safe environment to explore the nature and wonders of a portion of southeastern Arizona, and protect the cultural and recreation environment for our heritage. We are tireless in our efforts to support sustenable State Park revenues which would keep our Parks open, and improve the infrastructure so the park may be preserved for ages to come. Our non-profit organization serves people of all races, creeds, and religions. We do not discriminate. We merely support our fellow citizens, and serve as a guiding light.

Friends of Verde River Greenway (FOVRG) was organized in early April 2007 and became an official affiliate of the Arizona State Parks Foundation on April 12. Their website is the Friends "headquarters, meeting space, information kiosk, photo gallery, forum and general hangout."
